Conference Information

Will the conference be In-Person? Recorded? Virtual?

All sessions will be delivered live and-in person in Anchorage, Alaska. There will be no virtual or recorded sessions.

Are there restrictions on attendance?

We reserve the right to limit attendance based on discipline/job position for certain sessions. Attendance restrictions are listed by each session on the Agenda.

Will I receive a certificate of attendance?

All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance after completing a brief evaluation for each session. The certificate will be available for download in the conference app.

Will there be food provided?

We will be providing beverages and light refreshments throughout the conference, but you will be responsible for your own lunch. Please note that the Marriott does not allow outside food.

On September 24 and 25 we will be holding discussion panels during lunch. If you would like to remain and observe these panels, you will have the option to purchase boxed lunches during the registration process.

What is the cost of registration? Where do I register?

When is the registration deadline?

Online registration closes on Friday, September 6, 2024. If you have any questions about registration, please contact Lorell David at lorell@idoeventsak.com.

What types of payment do you accept?

Credit Card: You can pay online during the registration process. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Please note that there is a 3% processing fee for all credit cards.

Checks: If you need to pay as a group and/or would like to avoid the processing fee, please complete your registration and send a check payable to “i do Events, LLC” with the memo “ACCM 24” to the following address:

Can we pay for our group all together?

Yes! Each person in your group needs to register individually and select “pay by check” so that we can reserve your spots. Once you’ve all registered, please send a check for your total registration fees payable to “i do Events, LLC” with the memo “ACCM 24” to the following address:

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be received by September 6, 2024 to qualify for a refund, less a $75 administrative fee ($10 fee for post-conference only). Registration is transferable to another qualified applicant within the same organization. No refunds will be given beyond September 6, 2024.  For refunds, visit the Cvent website.

Why do I need to pre-register?

We require registration so that we can plan for room capacity for each session.

Are scholarships available?

There are two options for scholarships: 

Children’s Justice Act Task Force – Includes travel, lodging, per diem, registration

What if I registered but didn't get the confirmation?

If you haven’t received a confirmation email, please check your spam folder. If you aren’t able to locate the confirmation, please contact Lorell at lorell@idoeventsak.com.

Continuing Education Credits

I’m trying to register and I’m confused about which continuing education option to choose.

What credits will be available?

How many credits can I get for each session?

Please see the Agenda for the continuing education credit breakdown by discipline for each session.

Will I receive a certificate of attendance?

All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance after the event and after you complete a brief evaluation for each session you attend. The certificate will be available for download in the conference app

Travel

Are there any hotel or airline discounts available?

Yes! The Alaska Children’s Alliance has coordinated with Marriott Hotels and Alaska Airlines to obtain discounts for registrants.  Visit our Travel page for details.  Book hotel by August 26 to obtain discounts.
